Happy Birthday to Dr. Kimberly Drenser, one of the founding voices of this foundation and a tireless advocate for children with rare retinal diseases and the families who love them.
Long before the PRRF had this name, Dr. Drenser was part of the conversation. She has been a steady presence through every chapter of this organization's story, from the earliest days of research in the lab to the pilot grants we are celebrating today. She has sat with parents at their most frightened moments, given honest answers when there were hard questions, and kept her eye fixed on what matters most: finding real treatments for real kids.
We are so grateful to call her a colleague, a champion, and a friend.
