Stories of Hope

I have learned to educate the general public who might not have much experience dealing with people with disabilities. Instead of getting frustrated, I invite them to ask questions and become allies to the disabled community.

Gretchen

Even with his diagnosis he continues to persevere and not let it hold him back. He’s a very active young man who loves doing taekwondo and playing video games.

Performing gave me a purpose and strength I didn’t know I had. For once I wasn’t “the blind girl” I was “the girl on the stage.” Performing made me a stronger person. I was able to love myself and finally accepted my place as a disabled person which I had always felt ashamed of before.

Volunteer with us!

As a small nonprofit, volunteers make all the difference to the success of achieving our mission. We simply couldn’t do this important work without the drive and dedication of our volunteer community.

Our Community is Our Strength

When families connect, researchers collaborate, and supporters unite, we create REAL change. Every connection made brings hope. Together we can make sure that no family faces this journey alone.
